I Have Loved So Much

I Have Loved So Much · 3:4

Woman's face reflected in a shattered mirror with an ornate silver frame, pearls strung along the cracks, both hands pressed against the glass, pink roses at the edges, black and silver tones with rose pink lips and nails. Signed Magpie.

A woman's face looks out from a shattered mirror in an ornate silver frame, the cracks spreading from a single point between her eyes. Tiny pearls cling along every fracture line. Her hands press flat against the glass from the inside, pink roses crowd the edges, and the whole image is drained to silver and black except for the rose pink of her lips, her nails and the flowers. The poem behind it is about sitting in the rubble of your own destruction to find the places that could not let go. Here the rubble is strung with pearls, and she is not looking away.

Made from a poem.
