I Don't Know How to Be

I Don't Know How to Be · 3:4

Extreme close up of a doll like face at a tilt with huge grey blue eyes, glitter and gold star tears, glossy pink lips and chunky pink and mint star clips in wispy black hair. Signed Magpie.

A doll like face fills the frame at a tilt, huge grey blue eyes looking out through strands of black hair. Glitter and tiny gold stars spill from her lashes like tears, and chunky pink and mint plastic stars are clipped into her hair and scattered over her skin. Round pink cheeks, a glossy pout, everything soft and sugared and slightly too close. The poem behind her ends 'I don't know how to be what anybody seems to need of me without erasing all of the me that I've found,' and she looks like she is waiting to be told who to be.

Made from a poem.
